I recently completed graduate work in English at Texas A&M University, where I studied primarily in the digital humanities and digital pedagogy: I wrote my master's thesis on the new role of images in digital studies and worked on a project dealing with the integration of blogs and wikis in composition classrooms. I also see how to apply what I have learned to original problems because I see connections and hold a deeper understanding of the material. My double major in Chemistry and Biochemistry with a mino in Mathematics was full of its fair share of difficult material, and I was almost always able to help my peers, as well as younger students, throug
