I have graduated from two major universities and will attend medical school at Nova Southeastern University in August 2011. I have just recently graduated from USF College of Medicine with a Master’s degree in Medical Sciences and hold a degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Illinois. I have extensive research experience in bioinformatics from the University of Illinois. I have been blessed with professors at the university level who understand the importance of one-on-one instruction. Through the "creativity" of thoughtful instructors I have seen myself grow and develop in ways that I hadn't thought possible. Every student learns differently, and once the instructor gets to know the student well enough and is able to tailor their lessons to the needs of the student, true learning happens. I am a senior studying Animal and Poultry Sciences at Virginia Tech. I have always had a personal passion for education and have enjoyed spreading the joys of learning and understanding to my peers, siblings, and friends. The greatest reward one can achieve is to see the smile on someones face when they have found success in understanding something they felt impossible.
