I have always known I wanted to work with children. I enjoy working in classrooms, as well as in the more relaxed settings, such as summer and after-school programs. I graduated in 2005 from the State University of New York at New Paltz with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, and a concentration in Spanish. A Little Bit About Me...

As a Siena College graduate I developed a very hands on approach to active learning. Through classroom lecture and instruction I've completed the necessary coursework to complete my BS of biology. Due to my strong work ethic I've gained knowledge and skills in the physical sciences, as well as in other subject areas. During my college years I subbed as teacher at a public K-12 school. During that time I taught a variety of grade levels, and worked as a one-on-one aide.

I loved teaching! I think I retired too early because I miss the every day challenges and excitement teaching gives! I have been trained in 4Mat and Gardners Multiple Intelligences.
