As an Engineer in making I go through this process everyday where sometimes I have to learn and sometimes I have to teach. I work in a team, and try to make connection between material and some real life example. Just to show an example, the pythagorus theorem is really useful to work around were we make use of the hypotenuse to walk less from point a to b rather than going through the path.

Teaching is a difficult task. Everyone learns at a different pace and on their own level. Some students are quick learners and their teacher only needs to go over the lesson once; other students need to hear the subject content in a different form to understand it. Having said that, I can't explain my teaching style as a cut and dry formula. The skill level of each student and the way they process information will determine how I will present them with questions and explanations. I don't believe in teaching every student with the same teaching style; I believe in conforming to the skill level of the student so that at the end of the day, they learn the topic we set out to conquer.
