Being in college for four years exposed me to social environments that I normally wouldn't have been able to encounter on a day to day basis. Whether I was learning on my own, working with or helping fellow classmates, or even just observing how the professors worked with us, I was always learing new concepts or methods of how to interact with a wide variety of characteristics in a diverse group of people. And due to the difficulty of my major, I feel that by being able to communicate well with others in this area I could handle various other scenarios as well. I am extremely versatile in style which is evident by my experience and education. I have a BA degree in music, have worked in the recording industry, and perform. Since I have been playing a lot of years, I have developed different techniques that enable me to play faster and more clear with ease to the fingers and wrists. Playing in a band and playing every weekend has made me learn different ways to keep up with the demanding songs that we play. Knowing all the chords is ok but it makes you somewhat limited. If you can master the chords of major E, A, C, F, G, and D, then you have all the basic things you need to play. Minors come later. After these basic chords, everything will fall into place. After that, bar chording comes next. I would really enjoy teaching at the beginner and intermediate levels.
