My comments on tutoring Sociology : I know many basic theories in sociology due to my B.A. in Anthropology with a concentration in cultural anthropology.

While pursuing a double degree from the University at Buffalo and working part-time, I worked in peer tutoring groups for Latin and writing. I have experience proof reading papers and correcting grammar. My four semesters of college Latin have given me a understanding of English language origins and modern usages. Latin also helps me to use punctuation and grammar correctly and effectively. I am well versed in aspects of earth science and geology due to my interest in geology at the University at Buffalo. After receiving a degree in Sociology from a New York State University, I went on to earn a provisional teaching certificate in Biology. I have twenty-one graduate hours in Reading and eleven graduate hours in Early Childhood Education. My previous work experience had me working with families where one adult was in need of a GED.
