I love to teach!

I am a firm believer in relating education to the real world. This philosophy transcends into my teaching style. I make it a mission to ensure my students understand what they're learning rather than simply memorizing it to pass a test. I want my students to not only learn the subject matter but develop a fundamental understanding of what it takes to succeed in school, college, and the real world. When working towards my Bachelor's I was able to achieve a dual BS in Accounting and Business Management. After working a few years, I decided to go into teaching. While doing this, I was able to assimilate my real life working experience, into the classroom. I have since obtained a second certification in Special Education. This was after obtaining my Master's in 2007. I believe the combination of these teaching areas, would allow me to help those students, who need different areas of help.
My teaching style is one that allows the students to ask any pertinent question about the subject at hand. By allowing the students to do this, it allows me to see what might be giving them a hard time with the learning. A Little Bit About Me...

I love trying to help children gain knowledge. I believe anyone is capable of learning something new no matter how old they are and that patience and the use of deductive knowledge are they key's to having someone develop their knowledge. My method of teaching will evoke these attributes as well as reptition so that not only will your child know the material I am tutoring by the time that I am done, but it will also become routine to them.
