I also know that kids have their own distinct personalities and I address each child as an individual person, with their own talents and ideas. There is nothing better than when a person's face lights up, young or old, when they "get it." Knowing you have impacted a person, potentially for the rest of their life, is a reward in and of itself. The pay that comes attached to it is the bonus.
