I have a passion for teaching others and spreading my knowledge- I enjoy not only helping a student to understand, but to also become a mentor. I have been tutoring since middle school, and throughout high school. Since I have been in college, I have been eager to tutor again. My knowledge is mostly in high school and college biology, anatomy, and physiology. I began my career teaching for six years at a K-8 parochial school in Erie, PA, then taught for 3 years at an elite all boys prep school, also in Erie (Cathedral Preparatory School). Chemistry tutor at local learning center. All of my students received a passing final grade ( so far)! I taught 19 courses of biology/anatomy to undergraduate students at ECU. This was the most joyful time in my career. I've discovered that chemistry is difficult because teachers only teach one way. It begins to click when a student hears the same info from a different perspective.
Hands on. Using a board to explain concepts and then letting student take a try. Most students learn better by doing.

I am very interested in languages, math, and science. In December of 2007, I received my B.A. in Spanish. Soon after I moved to Costa Rica for a little over a year.
