A Little Bit About Me...

i had a lot of tutoring experience. I worked as a 2nd grade teaching assistant in an elementary school in Worcester, MA. Previous experience working in an English Day Camp as a teacher (ESL) in Hong Kong. I worked as a teaching assistant for International Trade at Purdue University. I also had volunteering experience in peer mentoring middle schoolers for math and science.

I have always loved school and find that I miss it at times. Because of that I jump at the chance to help those who need it. I college I helped other students who had math and physics classes. I have learned the skills that I needed to both learn and remember and have helped others to do so also. My best friend's little brother is dyslexic and I have helped him throughout high school and now in college. I am very easy going, patient, a problem-solver. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. I have always had a passion for learning and helping others. I was a Honors English student and I have a strong interest in reading and writing. I have worked as a seasonal scorer of standardized assesments for a year. I was an America Reads America Counts tutor for 1 1/2 years. I tutored youth K-12 in both reading and math. I also provided homework assistance with other subjects.
