A Little Bit About Me...

I believe the learning experience should always be an enjoyable one. I use humor from time to time in my teaching. A teacher can make the learning experience more enjoyable and more memorable by injecting humor into certain lessons. This has proved to be very productive, since many of my students have shown that they benefited from my instruction style by asking follow-up questions, clarifying issues in which they have confusion. I also encourage students to think on their own, so that as long as they can reasonably justify their line of reason, then they cannot be wrong.
I have earned a bachelor's degree in French, for that is the subject for which I have the most passion. When working with young children (grades k-6), I try and make learning as fun and relaxing as possible. Young children also need a lot of attention to ensure they remain focused on the task at hand.
