Painting Tutors & Teachers for Lessons, Instruction or Help in Binger, OK

Art Minor. Will not paint for you but show you basics. I am a Psychology major at the Univeristy of Central Oklahoma with a minor in Art and Sociology. (GPA: 3.5) I also have previouse tutored at Kumon. I am a very hard working student and I expect others to be hard working as well. There is not shame in saying that you need help. We all do at one poing in time or another. I myself have had tutoring in the past. Some things are hard to understand and we just need a little help from someone else. I promise not to be a stick in the mud but I will make sure that the job gets done and you recieve what you have paid for. I like to study in different ways. I believe that all students learn differently and should be treated as so; with this being said i believe that each student should work at their own pace and should be helped to find strategies that help them learn. I currently have a bachelors degree in sociology with a minor in elementary education. During the past 4 years and working in the early childhood education industry I realized that many teachers were not getting the proper training that they needed to receive to help the children that they are serving. Once I realized this I decided to work on my Master's degree in Early Childhood Education in hopes that i could be an Early Childhood College Professor and teach students the ins and outs of the early childhood industry. While getting my bachelors degree I tutored in subjects such as reading,writing, math, and science as well as art.

After graduating, I did substitute teaching for the rest of the school year, primarily in the Yukon School District. At that time, the market was flooded with new graduates with degrees in Elementary Education; therefore, I took a position working for the State of Oklahoma. I have always been the “go to” person at work whenever writing skills were required, and became known for my grammatical and spelling abilities. I have also been a mentor and trainer of other employees. I have been an avid reader all of my life and feel that literature can enrich lives both young and old. I enjoy teaching children of all ages, but young children in particular because they are so excited about learning new things. I am patient and considerate of each child's individual learning style, and believe that instilling confidence in each child's individuality helps them become strong, confident adults.

I am currently heading for a BS in Elementary Education while I am home schooling my children. I have home school grades 6-11. I have accomplished raising reading levels within 6 months past 2 grades past level. I have tutored and home schooled children outside my own and have been asked to assist children with reading. My shelves are currently equipped with grade K-10 curriculum and I am ready to provide part time and full time education on several subjects or one Teaching has been something I have done a great deal of my life no matter what path I was on. When I was in nursing school, patient teaching was a strong point of mine. I love children. I am patient, kind and believe in utilizing intrinsic and extrinsic forms of lessons so that children develop a love of learning and see the short term rewards and long term rewards.My goal is to help a student succeed.
