I currently hold an associate’s degree from Grand Rapids Community College in applied arts as well as an associate’s degree from Davenport University in accounting. I will also graduate with a bachelor’s degree in accounting on April 25, 2010. I worked for over three years for the Boardwalk Fitness Center where I was the general manager in charge of over 20 employees. I was also responsible for the general accounting duties, payroll, and customer billing. I am also an Eagle scout, where I spent years doing community service and teaching younger scounts.
I love working with children of all ages. My teaching style I would describe as a friendship in which I work together. I have found as long as you are a positive force and are willing to put in as much time as it takes, you can help the student reach their fullest potential.

I teach by learning the student and beccoming aware of how they learn and what interests them in being able to achieve at their best. I love the look on a child's face when they finally realize that they have achieved what they viewed as unachievable. No child should be in the position of believing that they cannot accomplish any task.
