A Little Bit About Me...

I believe in creating students who have learned how to learn. I understand that I am only a temporary fixture in the lives of most students. Consequently, I strive to help them understand how to acquire information and ask the right questions so that they can succeed long after I've left their lives. I believe all children are capable of academic success and I hold high expectations, especially of students who others may have written off.
Through my volunteer work with church organizations I have over five years of experience mentoring others, which has given me an excellent understanding of the need for quality educators. My first and most important goal is always to convey this to the student in an effort to let them know I believe in their abilities. The thing that allows a student to most effectively reach his or her possibilities is confidence.
