A Little Bit About Me...

Over the past 4 years, I've worked at the Colton Community services recreatioon depatrment. As an employee I've worked in Drop-In Recreation, in which I provide my assistance in helping the children do homework and tutor them as they needed. fot the past year and a half, we've started a new program called Homework help, which is to focus more on helping the students one on one with homwwork, reading, math, projects, etc. I am currently working on getting my AA in Child Devolpment to continue my drive to become a teacher. Ive already taken a child devopment class, and I also hold a few certificates: Food handlers certificate, first aid, and cpr.

I always wanted to be a teacher, but ended up being an engineer. I enjoy teaching in general and tutoring is a way for me to practice teaching. I enjoy tutoring kids and teenagers and be a mentor for them. I'm easy going and knowledgeable of the material.
