My comments on tutoring American History : I hold two degrees in History (BA and Master's), in which I am extremely interested. Understanding the past helps us understand the present. As a College Professor (History, Philosophy, Ethics, English) with many years of tutoring experience, I have helped many High School and College students to succeed academically. In my experience, the majority of students are highly motivated. This is, for me, the key to success. American History is one of my top subjects! I have always loved American History. Teaching and tutoring this subject has been of great joy to me. American History has been a top homework help favorite for myself and the children that I have been a nanny for.

I have been working with children for the past seven years. Four of those years have included homeschooling pre-school and pre-kindergarten as well as homework help and tutoring the children that I was babysitting. I love tutoring because it allows me to work one-on-one with my students. My comments on tutoring American History : History major in college

I began teaching at eighteen. I’d just graduated high school and wasn’t ready for college, so I worked as a personal trainer at a gym within jogging distance of my house. I worked with clients one-on-one helping structure their workouts to their needs, and while I may be stretching it to equate teaching with providing pointers on proper form or advising on ways to augment a stagnant routine, but I think that gap year spent in the gym was when my proclivity for teaching first became incipient. The most important of the factors are the subject matter and the students learning style. The learning style of the student has to be considered when teaching.
