My education in a liberal arts college has allowed me to not only master an extensive range of subject matter from mathematics to science to humanities; but it has also allowed me to apply my knowledge in everyday situations. I have a BA in Chemistry and a BA in Environmental Studies. I grasp a wide range of physical science subject matter, as well as familiarity in public policy, currents issues, essay writing and critiquing, and research and analytical methods. During my college experience I assisted students in freshman and organic chemistry. I also helped develop and implement a laboratory course for non-science majors. A Little Bit About Me...

I earned a comprehensive biology, chemistry, science degree in secondary edu. I taught 7-12 grade life, earth, physics, ap chemistry, and biology in Alpena, Ar. for almost a year. I was the director of the EncorePlus non-profit breast cancer organization for 3+ years in Little Rock, Ar. I have experience in grant writing and reporting. I taught elderly women how to use the internet.
I try to show students the fun side of learning. In the science field there are so many exciting things to learn and do. I think if children are taught that learning is fun at an early age it makes them more apt to do well throughout their academic career. I have patience and the willingness to decide the correct approach for each individual student.
