I traveled for a year with a family and home-schooled their 3 children. The children were in 1st grade, kindergarten, and pre-school and were seriously below grade level in math and reading. In that year, I brought those children beyond grade level in reading skills and comprehension as well as math skills. I have also been a teacher's assistant in 3rd and 4th grade classrooms and have gone through student teaching in the 3rd and 6th grade in order to complete my degree. While working on bachelors degrees in Music Education and French, I taught music sectionals, private lessons, and classes on primarily on trombone, euphonium, and tuba, among other instruments, co-taught a French class for young elementary students, and worked at a variety of summer camps, including a music camp in which I taught basic music theory to high school students. Prior to that, as a high school student myself, I occasionally tutored Math and English and taught lessons.
