I love the one on one interaction a tutor has with the students. I believe all children have a unique style of learning and we need to help them find their own way of learning. For example some kids are visual learners, while others are hearing learners. My work as a tutor is to see which method is the best for them. I am very patience with my students. Some students just need a little bit of guidance to help raise their self esteem and I am sure with our help they are going to be well prepared for college.
I have a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and a master’s degree in environmental engineering. I currently take classes at Kalamazoo Valley Community College in their certification for CAD Specialists. I have substitute taught in the pass for a few months, mainly elementary level kids.
