I love to teach! I am a fourth year medical student with a wide variety of teaching experience. In the University at Buffalo, I was a teaching assistant for a biology course for college students. I have also tutored through the organization of BIg Brothers Big Sisters. I have a biomedical sciences degree and a history degree so I am well rounded and well versed to fit your teaching needs!

In that capacity I taught private performance lesson, coached chamber ensembles, conducted various ensembles. supervised and coached student teachers, performed in a faculty artist-in-residence quintet, performed solo recitals, assisted students in writing essays, resumes, and applications for positions in the teaching field or graduate studies. I have 15 years of teaching experience with special needs students in a rural school district. During this time i provided private tutoring sessions for Elementary, Middle, High School and College students. At the college level my tutoring experience is with reading, writing, study skills and organization. Currently I develop educational programming for incarcerated youth. My belief is that all students have different learning styles. Therefore lessons need to be individualized to meet student needs. In order to be successful students need to be engaged by creative teachers. My teaching experience has taught me to accommodate these needs when developing lesson plans.
