I lived in Paris, France for 1.5 years then moved to Rome, Italy, again teaching English. My experiences were wonderful as I met people who really enjoyed learning English and needed it for work. I also was able to implement Lucy Calkin's Units of Study for the writing program. I taught in a classroom with twenty-one diverse learners and was able to adjust the classroom so everyone's needs were met.

I do not believe in standardized testing. Each child has the capability of learning, but not all children have the ability to take tests, for whatever reason.
