My comments on tutoring Percussion : I have been playing a drum kit for over ten years. I have experiance in Jazz, Rock, Latina grooves, and pop punk/hiphop/metal. i was in Advanced Jazz band all four years of high school, as well as advanced band, playing everything from timpani's to maracas, to flaxatone, snaredrum bongos and everything inbetween.

i am just a twenty year old college student, Who has learned a lot in this world, and looking to pass it on to whomever it might effect. Very caring, musical, and a great people person. I have mostly learned all my people skills when i was a waiter at T.G.I. Fridays, and that combined with my love of learning brings me to this tutor position
I have always been a hands on learner, so that is mostly the way i portray my lessons, by doing, instead of readin. However i also see the need in having to sit down and Get to work, because some thing are better learned on paper

A Little Bit About Me...

I have been performing since i was a child. Attended Julliard school of music, City colege of NY. Published two albums of my own and has recorded with a host of astist as a sideman. I am a multi-instrumentalist playing piano,bass(electric and acoustic), all percussions,composer and arranger. I have earned a bachelor of fine arts degree in music performance
I love teaching students of all ages. It is very satisfying to see their eyes light up when they realize they got it. One method i use is to teach the the music that they love and apply the theory and technique to it, and gradually introduce them to more challenging works. I can improvise at a moments notice to help get the lesson across, even if it means focusing on one task at a time. My goal is to make the learning experience as pleasant as possible.

A Little Bit About Me...

As a member of the Wellesley community and past student at St. Sebastians school, I have learned to achieve at an extremely high level of education. My teachers have showed me how to succeed in school and strive for the best. I have been extremely interested in Music and the arts for many years now. I would enjoy working with children as for I work very well with them.
I enjoy working with kids of all ages very much. As my summer job, I teach children from ages 4 to 21 how to play tennis. This has helped make me the person I am today in many ways. I am very patient and easy going and I am considerate of others as well. I am confident in my abilities and I think I would be a great fit for you as a teacher, friend, or mentor.
