This gives me the opportunity to identify possible gaps in their knowledge and to fill in those gaps. I also try to relate covered material to historical events. I am 21 years, graduating Alpha Chi in May of 2009 with a bachelors in science. I have great passion for science and have excellent communication skills with students my age and higher. Since my freshman year I have tutored students in math, sociology, biology and environmental science.

My teaching style is definitely one of facilitator. I present the material in a fashion, which allow students to experiment and develop their critical thinking and problem solving skills. From these skills the students will learn how to approach and solve the problems they are given. Students need to experience success and will do so. Failure is not an option.
