My comments on tutoring Trigonometry : Have taught trigonometry for the past 10 years

I like to take concepts and apply them to topics and fields that you are interested in. Math can be applied so many different ways, and when that connection is made at a personal level, it makes it that much more relevant.
Have taught at the high school level for the past 10 years. I have served as a tutor at the high school and college levels for the past four years. I have my Master's in Education and have a degree in Mathematics as well. I have taught levels of math ranging from 8th grade math, all the way up to college level calculus and statistics. I love the application of math and finding the "why" in what is that most people struggle with math.

I try to present a concept or fact in several different ways so that I can resonate with the students thinking style. I have been told that I am a very good communicator and educator and can make concepts that seem complicated look much simpler and more comprehendible. If you've ever looked at the Khan Academy website, were Sal Khan makes little You Tube videos on all sorts of math and science topics, you will see a very similar method to how I educate .

A Little Bit About Me...

Throughout my educational years, I have greatly appreciated the opportunity to tutor a variety of students in various fields. As an undergraduate, I tutored other college students in science courses, including biology and chemistry, in a one-on-one or group setting. I am fresh out of college and have much of the information fresh on my mind. I would particularly enjoy working with students in math and science, as I was a biology major with a chemistry minor. I have always been driven to do more with my life. I have always had goals in life and often times pursued them. My BS degree in Biology was one of these goals I have accomplished.
