From 2010-2014, I taught math and science full time at a local Catholic school. In Fall of 2014, I completed my student teaching at a local high school. In January 2015,I received my MA in Math Education along with my state teaching certification. A Little Bit About Me...

This past school year I worked with a senior high school student on his pre-calculus schoolwork; we met once a week and he was able to improve his grade enough to pass the class and keep his athletic scholarship to Indiana Tech. I also mentored a freshman high school student in the area once a week and participated in the tutoring program at the South Bend Juvenile Correctional Facility.
I always try to encourage the student to do the problems on his or her own, especially in math. I feel I have enough experience in math to be able to try different angles or come up with examples to help the student understand the concepts.
