A Little Bit About Me...

I think it is important for students to see the big picture when learning a topic. My goal is to make sure that students understand the principles regarding a particular topic, and then they are better able to solve individual problems. I am an easygoing person and feel that if the student doesn't learn, then I have wasted their time.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and currently work as a design engineer. As such, I have an understanding in several areas of mathematics as well as chemistry and physics. I have previous experience with in-home tutoring and tutoring in a group home. I have also tutored friends and friends of the family, helping several to pass their GED exam.
