I feel that if a child can see, touch, taste, and/or use their body in a lesson than they can really grab the concept that is being taught and be able to connect it to real world experiences. I am easygoing person who is dedicated and passionate about teachering. I believe that all children are able to be successful when given the right surroundings and experiences. How do I summarize teaching in my life? I guess the best way to explain my teaching experience is to tell you a story. As a young girl I wanted to be a teacher. Because of my love of learning I taught all my siblings how to read. I know it is pretty funny but it is a true story. That led to my doing teaching seminars, which led to consulting, which led to training, which led to my working with individuals as a life coach. I have been a CEO, Vice President, Consultant, Senior Broker, Artist, Photographer, Glass Blower, Jewelry Designer and writer, the job titles have changed over the years; the only consistent has been that teaching has always been a part of my working life.
