I am currently a graduate student in Political Science at Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN. I have taught a public speaking course to undergraduate students at Purdue for the past year. I also have experience working with younger children and with special needs students. I have a B.A. in Political Science and Classical Studies from Drew University in Madison, NJ, and I worked for some time as a director and dramaturge in the New York/New Jersey area professional theatre community. When I tutor, I first strive to make the session interesting and fun. Before beginning, I would strive to identify which types of learning the student excels in and focus on them. I also make sure to change the learning styles and activities often to avoid students from becoming tired of an exercise.
