I hace experience tutoring kids from elementary school to high school. I have taught kids with learning disabilities. I have excellent communication skills and work well with all kinds of people. In general, I like to assist the student visually and with real-life examples of how subjects such as chemistry, physics, and math can be applied to everyday life. My goal is to make learning fun not by lecturing, but encouraging the student to get involved and ask questions. Situations do arise when it is beneficial to lecture and let the student "soak up" knowledge through diagrams and examples on the board. I find both teaching styles work, and tailor each lesson based on the needs and capabilities of the student.

Sensitivity's employed in that I notice the demeanor and countenance of the learner to help the student remain hopeful, optimistic and goal-setting, or at least goal-friendly.
