A Little Bit About Me...

I believe in a teaching style that reflects a student's learning style. Whether they learn best by hearing, seeing, or doing it is important to cater to the student. My teaching style works around this philosphy and tends to be a combination of all 3 styles.
Although I have recently graduated with a degree in business, I am interested in pursuing a career involving people. My previous employment was a sales position that was very customer-oriented. I have been told I am a patient and imaginative teacher. I have been a camp counselor at a nature camp for six summers and have tutored and taught for an additional 5 years. In this time I learned how to help children learn, and how to make it fun. For many children learning how to teach them is the hardest part, i.e. to use visual aids, or to make use of kinetic learning. I graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I am enrolled in a doctoral program currently to earn my Ed.D in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies.
