I enjoy earnest and humble students, learning with and from them. A Little Bit About Me...

As a graduate of one of the top state schools in New York, I have always believed in the importance of education. I have a BA in art studio, 2 years of biology/chemistry, and Calculus I&II, which has given me a well rounded education. I have also developed a higher level of writing skills through my research papers and laboratory write-ups. My latin classes have given me a better understanding of vocabulary and the derivatives of different languages from latin. During my junior year of undergraduate work, I was contacted by a professor and asked to become an English tutor intern for my fellow students and visiting exchange students from Aichi, Japan. I was told that this hands-on tutoring would also coincide with an upper level English class, a class in which permission of its instructor, the English department and recommendations from other professors were all required.
