*Worked as a tutor/translator for three years at the Housing Authority of Bowling Green - Learning Center. Translating Bosnian/English during ESL classes for adults and tutored K-12 students after school. *Tutored and taught international college students and adults working on their GEDs at the Adult Learning Center of Bowling Green Technical college for a year. *Tutored college English and Chemistry for five months at the American University in Dubai (United Arab Emirates) during study abroad term. *As the eldest of five children, I was a private tutor for my siblings from K-12 and even some college. A Little Bit About Me...

I believe that students best learn from doing. My role as a tutor is not just to provide answers, but to facilitate and encourage learning. However I am also able to provide a knowledge base in a number of subjects to help answer questions the student may be struggling with. I am comfortable working with children of all ages to help them meet their full learning potential as students.
As a graduate of a small liberal arts college, I have spent many hours volunteering to help tutor my classmates in both biology and the humanities. I hold a bachelor's degree in biology. I have learned extensive grammatical skills through my school's intensive general studies program. I am confident in my ability to tutor students in mathematics, science, English and the humanities at the K-12 level and biology and English at the college level.
