I have three years teaching 2nd Grade with Abeka curriculum. I have two years teaching 3rd grade Abeka curriculum. I have two years teaching middle/high school English. I am currently employed teaching at a private school in Southwest Little Rock. I have received training in ADD, ADHD, and ODD behaviors. I have received some training in teaching students with high functioning autism.

I believe we all learn in different ways, and I am always open minded in finding the best way for that student I am working with at that time. I believe everyone can achieve the highest of goals if we all strive for that success and find out a way to get there. However, most of all I hope I can leave a feeling of respect for the studies and for the people around us. I have earned a BS in Chemistry and a minor in Math. I am currently working as a chemist, so I have kept up with all the new studies that are taking place right now. I have tutored all through High School, College and thereafter. I have a real passion for learning math, all sciences, and history. I hope I can pass this respect for these studies on to everyone I teach.

I always adapt my teaching style to fit the student. I am willing to do just about anything to help a student learn a subject, so long as that student is as dedicated to learning it as I am to teaching it. It takes two people working together in order to have a sucessful tutoring session. I have tutored most subjects in both in middle school and high school. My most recent experience was tutoring psychology and spanish at the college level. I do not hold a teaching certificate, but I do love to teach.
