I became fast friends with a foreign exchange student from Nicaragua, whose limited English proficiency was my greatest opportunity to learn Spanish. During the last twelve years I have worked within the public school system in both Arkansas and Florida. Between 1998 and 2000 I worked as a substitute for the Cabot School District. Working as a Spanish Interpreter, I work with pre-school aged children. I work with them during their therapy time, especially in Speech Therapy.
