My comments on tutoring Microsoft Access : Training Specialist with extensive experience in teaching Microsoft Office (MSO) Applications in both the federal and private sector. I have over 25 years experience teaching Microsoft applications to high school students, adults, displaced workers, veterans and federal employees.

Since 1985 I have been working in the computer environment. I worked with data processing high school students at the Johnstown Vo-Tech for over 17 years. For the past 11 years I have served as the lead instructor for all MSO training at the National Drug Intelligence Center. As a part time adult instructor I have taught adults of all ages to include displaced workers, Veterans, and members of the local business community the computer skills and Microsoft applications needed to function in the contemporary workforce.
I am a hands on instructor. I can identify user needs, pinpoint skill gaps and develop instruction to meet those needs. I have been recognized for the ability to develop and deliver professional training to many different types of learners. I plan, design and develop curriculum to include lesson plans, student guides and job aids for MSO Applications.

I am a graduate effective 2013 of business administration which encompasses business subjects and accounting. I have been tutoring students in mostly business subjects privately as well as an employed tutor. In accounting most of my students have scored 'A' and 'B' grades for basic accounting and intermediate level. Other business subjects I have taught include business strategy, marketing among others. As an online graduate at Kaplan University, I quickly became aware of my priorities. Students seeking help often emailed other classmates for assistance. I was often told there were very few students who responded to their emails; however, I was one of them. I earned my Associate degree through Allegany College of Maryland. I enjoyed this area of study so much that I decided to transfer to Kaplan University Online and continue my study in Business Administration with concentration in Accounting. As a graduate of a sound Liberal Arts College, I've learned that the greatest asset I took away with me was the art of communication.
