A Little Bit About Me...

Throughout my studies at a liberal arts College I gained a great diversity of knowledge and skills in many different subject areas. During my second year as a Religious Studies major, I began tutoring both native and ESL college students in Philosophy, theology, and a number of upper-level religious studies courses, many of which were writing-intensive. I am currently a graduate student working toward a Master's of Theology degree, and am working as a tutor for the on-campus Writing Center. In tutoring situations, I like to lead by example. I try to be an excellent role model by sharing with my students the methods I have used to achieve academic success in my own life. I believe that everyone has a different learning style and it is just a matter of figuring out what works for each individual person. I am patient, yet persistent.
