I have a bachelor's degree in English from Tulane University, and I've also started my teacher certification. While I was in college, I worked in three local charter schools tutoring kids in grades 1-8 in reading, as well as helping them with language arts, math, social studies, and writing skills as needed. My comments on tutoring Reading Comprehension : I have tutored children in Reading Comprehension for 3 years in Richmond Public Schools for Americorps at Virginia Commonwealth University.

I am a member of the Nationql Scholars Honor Soceity and the American Sociological Association. I have completed fieldwork for the Center for Disease Control and the Virginia Tobacco Settlement Foundation in smoking among teenagers as an employee for Virginia Commonwealth University. I have completed an internship for the National Institutes of Health in the scope pf Hematology. In this study, I worked with pregnant female Swiss Webster mice to determine the erythrocyte population with weight gain.
