I received my Associates degree in Aeronautical Technology in 2012. Shortly later I received my private pilot's license. I also possess an extensive amount of knowledge of instrument flight training. I've been steadily playing Chess for the past year. I also taught my 5 year old step daughter a wide range of basic skills prior to entering kindergarten. I taught her how to play Chess at 4 years old. Throughout college I've always been a resourceful reference to my classmates. I enjoy helping others learn great skills to better their lives. I think it takes a lot for one teacher to reach all of types of students who are all at different levels of interest in the subject being taught as well as at different levels of understanding. However, I feel it is the teacher's responsibility to give them all equal opportunity to learn. It is not just about grades and assignments, that is just the means to an end, but it is about learning. In order for the students to learn, the teacher needs to be passionate about the students as well as the subject that is being taught. That will instill in the students a desire to learn and understand. In having a science background, I have not only learned laboratory skills and reasoning skills, but I have learned how to increase efficiency, communicate in a clear manner, and write in a way that is direct and clear.
