My comments on tutoring Writing Skills : I have written for publication and am comfortable with the rules of English. In addition, I can help ESL students translate ideas rather than words to create the best possible paper or concept.

I have worked for Defense Contractors in the fields of Chemical and Biological Defense; and with experimental aircraft development across both military and civilian sectors. I have campained for candidates for local office and I have written for publication. Born and raised in West Africa I bring a love of other cultures and a true "world or global" view to history, politics and government.
I like to involve all the senses: hearing new material; experiencing the reality of an abstract concept and finally teaching or responding it back to show that the lesson has been absorbed at several levels. I like to have fun with teaching so the student will learn to love learning for his or her self.

During my two-year residency in the country of Peru, I taught English courses to groups of native Spanish-speakers. I have a degree in Spanish from Weber State University and use the Spanish language daily. My wife is currently enrolled in her second year of college Spanish, and I am a constant tutor for her. I was first employed as instructor by Honeywell Aerospace (Phoenix) where I taught clients how to use various avionics and navigation systems for business jets. I did that for 5 years. The job required flexibility giving 1-on-1 as well as large-audience, seminar-type technical training. Later I worked as a simulator instructor at Simuflite (Dallas) teaching and certifying people how to fly business jets. I also have extensive experience writing/editing pilot manuals for various avionics systems.
I am relaxed, I smile easily, and love to give personal attention to people trying to learn. I believe that when technical / mathematical subjects are explained properly, anyone can learn and enjoy to do complex calculations.
