In high school I helped tutor younger children. My freshmen year of college I volunteered as a tutor at Ely Chapman. I am currently a teaching assistant for an Anatomy lab. I was Director of Education for two years and then served as Superintendent of Schools for two districts for a total of 15 years. I like to teach using examples, either on a board to show a person step by step first. Then try to give the student examples to try to solve themselves. If this does not work I continue to breakdown a problem until we can clearly identify where the student is having trouble. I have helped tutor friends’ kids on math from little school to high school. I have taken math all the way up to Differential equations and feel alright tutoring up to calculus one. I do not possess documented experience from schools or other organizations.
