Certified Teacher Tutoring

I am a 6th grade teacher at a public school in NJ. I have over 20 years of teaching experience in all elementary and middle school subjects. I offer tutoring in grades 3 - 8 for both remediation and enrichment. I'm also experienced with preparing adults for the teaching certification and nursing school exams. Phonics/Reading teacher certified in the Montessori Method

I'm a certified Montessori teacher having completed 500 hours supervised teaching. I've worked 11 years with children 1 1/2-3, and 3-6 teaching phonics,reading, and independence. My style is casual using objects and pictures to reinforce beginning sounds. Once the child has learned as few as three sounds, we are able to start reading words. I also babysit on an 'as needed' basis.
