Chemistry is one of my top subjects! I grasp chemistry ideas very quickly and understand them easily. I have also had success in explaining difficult ideas to struggling classmates. I am proficient in chemistry theories and principles along with the math and calculations involved in chemistry. I have witnessed students succeed when provided visual, tangible, and detailed examples of difficult chemistry ideas. I can provide this assistance on a one-on-one basis that is difficult to achieve in the classroom. With my help, students can have a solid and confident understanding of chemistry.
I am currently a Junior at Tulane University in the Honors program. In the past five years I have taken four years of Chemistry; two of which in high school and four semesters in college. In 10th grade in high school, I took honors Chemistry earning an A for the year and in 11th grade I took AP Chemistry earning an A for the year and a 5 on the AP exam. Freshman year of college I earned an A both semesters finishing in the top four of my class of 125 students in my final exam second semester. My sophomore year i took two semesters of Organic Chemistry and made an A- both semesters. In my four years of Chemistry I have become very proficient at all aspects of the subject, from the theoretical parts to the calculations involved and the formulas and terminology used.
