I really enjoy working with children in various subjects and activities. I believe all children have a different way of learning and can all find a way that best suites them. My teaching style is based on how the student learns best and what their interests are. I like to incorporate my excitement to teach because students tend to be more interested in learning when you are interested in who they are. I really stress hard work and fun into my lessons so that students will not only learn a lot, but remember it as well. As a civil engineering graduate, I spent a lot of time working with mathematics and achieving a higher level of education. I have always enjoyed working with kids especially in mathematics and athletic activities. I have tutored many college students as well as younger students in various subjects including math, English, biology, physics, and graphic design.

I've always had a passion to teach. Life took me down a few different paths but I've managed to find my way back to teaching. I'm looking to pursue a Masters in order to obtain a position in the fields of teaching CAD. I enjoy teaching others because I think I have a unique connection with the way some people think. I have dyslexia, but I managed to get a 3.9 in High School, a 2.98 at Michigan Tech and currently hold a 3.85 at KVCC. I am a right brained person that can see things in different ways or am able to relate them to something else in life to get the understanding to grasp the concept that is trying to be taught/learned. I have 5.5 years at Michigan Technological University in the studies of Mechanical Engineering.
