My teaching style varies by person, because not everyone learns the same way. I adapt my teaching style to the learning style of the person.
I have been tutoring in various math, elementary, and Spanish areas for 13 years. I have tutored students from elementary school age to adults. I have also tutored students all over the US and in other coutries. I have listed all the areas that I am comfortable tutoring. I am willing to teach in a library, in the student's home, on-line, or in another area that is agreed upon by both myself and the parent. I am open to group sessions, this would require me booking a meeting room in a library, or another location. On-line is preferred if possible to reduce travel time(s), this would also allow me to assist more students in a more efficient way.

My comments on tutoring ASVAB : Test preparation is my passion. I have a great prep book I like to use.

I homeschooled my three daughters for 10 years, right through high school. All three have gone on to Colllege and have excelled, making the Dean's list. My strongest area of expertise in teaching is reading. I have taught it for years. I have come to the conclusion through both personal experience, observation of other master teachers and through current educational research that it is most necessary to teach reading and math daily in a systematic manner while exposing the students to a learning rich environment(a classroom reading corner full of books is ideal for this). Research shows that a child needs 100 exposures, repetitions of for example the word “fox” to learn how to read it and make it their own.
