I enjoy the most the opportunity to work with a child individually because that direct time and attention often makes it easier to assess areas of weakness and how best to adapt instruction to the learner's needs and learning style. One of my most cherished teaching positions was at the Arkansas School for Mathematics and Sciences, a residential high school for gifted junior and seniors.
