I believe that understanding the learning style of a child or an adult can provide a map to success and a key way to avoid frustration. Each person seems to have his or her particular blend of techniques for mastering educational subject matter. My students learn in many ways—by seeing and hearing; reflecting and acting; reasoning logically and intuitively; memorizing and visualizing. Therefore, my teaching methods also vary. Throughout my schooling I have attended multiple classes in reading/writing, science, history, computer/I.T., foreign language, creative arts, business and math. For two years I was involved with the Big Brother program where I worked with an autistic student. I’m currently employed at US Bank where I work as a mutual fund analyst.
