A Little Bit About Me...

I am a Certified Public Accountant with over 30 years of accounting and finance experience. Although I have no formal teaching degree, I feel that I would be an excellent tutor. First, I have successfully trained many employees over the years. Second, my two sons, ages 21 and 19 graduated numbers 2 and 1 in their high school classes, respectively. Now, both are "straight A" students at the University of Tennessee. Here, I feel that I have lead by example. Finally, my personality, while being friendly and patient, is also that of a highly motivated "over achiever" who loves to help others. I focus on using examples from real business to explain problems and assignments in a clear, straightforward and step-by-step manner. I enjoy teaching and mentoring students and have been complimented many times by former students for my ability to explain complicated concepts in a way that makes them easy to understand. A Little Bit About Me...

I have experience teaching G.E.D. students in various levels of Reading, Writing and Grammar. I have always enjoyed Language Arts and would be interested in teaching either Elementary, Middle School or High School students. I would enjoy this opportunity.
