Every one can learn. Sometimes an individual learns in their own unique style and finding that style is the key to teaching them. The best way to teach someone is to guide them when they come to a road block, rather than to give them the answer. The amount of pride and prestige that comes from having figured out a problem on their own is the most important thing.
I've always loved to read, I inhereited it from my father who got it from his father. I'm an avid writer as well. A Little Bit About Me...

I have been working as a para-educator for the past 8 years. I greatly enjoy my work. I have worked with students with disabilities that range form mild learning disabilities to sever, such as autism. I love watching their faces light up when they grasp the concept of what they are trying to learn. I have taken classes at Community College of Vermont towards earning my associates degree in elementary education. I have also taken classroom behaior and management classes and earned certificates for those. My GPA at Community College of VT has never been below 3.8.
I prefer to use fundations with the younger students. Learning each letter and its sound is a critical base. I also like the tapping method used with fundations. I have found, through teaching a wide variety of people a wide variety of subjects, that there is no one way to reach someone. Everyone has individual strengths and weaknesses.
