Turning your weakness into your strength

I help guide the student along, having them discover much of the information in a trial and error fashion. I tend to use the questions they are struggling with the most, making similar examples, then walking them through these problems and breaking down the problems until the student understands the how the process works.
I have been tutoring for over seven years, starting with my peers in tenth grade. The Friendly Math Guy Next Door

I did my bachelor's in CIVIL Engineering in India.After my bachelor's I worked as an Assistant civil engineer for residential projects. During my bachelor's, I took mathematics classes for students in my community till tenth grade. I taught for around 20 students during the first two years of my bachelor's.

My comments on tutoring Trigonometry : Trigonometry is extremely important in the applied mathematical fields such as engineering and physics. So through my own study I have become proficient with trig functions.

I like students to understand how the material they are learning can and is being applied to everyday situations. So I often will talk about the big topics that have been covered explain why they are useful and then show the student how to perform various calculations or apply the nessecary logic to solve problems.
