My comments on tutoring Science : I use science daily in my profession.

Very relaxed and encouraging. I use quite a bit of discussion, and I like to ask students questions that lead them down the path to help them discover the answers they seek. I have found that information is better retained if one can guide the student to the conclusion that they seek, building upon the knowledge that is already there. I do hands on instruction I try to relate whatever concept I am attempting to teach into a hands on experiment so the student can see, feel or even smell things that will help make things easy for them to remember.
